Black Coffee’s Saturday residency at Hï Ibiza returned from 2 May to 3 October 2026. Hï identifies the partnership as a flagship part of its programming history.

The residency demonstrates how an African artist’s creative identity can anchor an established international club institution. Its importance is not only in the venue’s profile but in the wider routes it creates for musical collaboration and audience connection.

At the same time, international recognition is only one part of the story of African electronic music. The artists, collectives and local promoters building careers across the continent deserve attention alongside the biggest global residencies.
