Zimbabwean producer Nitefreak is taking the label he co-founded, Afroholic Records, to Amsterdam Dance Event. Amajoyo presents Afroholic is scheduled for Friday, 23 October 2026, at Soulkitchen Amsterdam, with Nitefreak and De La Noise leading the advertised programme.
The showcase follows a milestone for the label: Afroholic Records passed 10 million streams in August 2026, according to coverage of its development. That number describes the label’s reported streaming reach, not individual sales or a guaranteed revenue figure.
The significance is also structural. Afroholic operates as a label that releases and develops artists, while HiNDE—the music movement Nitefreak founded in 2021—connects audiences and performers through events across different countries.
Nitefreak has worked with artists including Francis Mercier and the late Papa Wemba’s catalogue, and his releases have reached international labels and playlists. These achievements show how a Zimbabwean electronic artist can build institutions around the music rather than depend entirely on other platforms.
The officially listed ADE performance provides another international meeting point for that work. DOGON will follow the label’s development and the artists benefiting from its next releases.
